after months in suspended animation,
i came upon the idea to fill my blogspot site
with well thought-of compositions about
the histories, tutorials and progress pix of my cosplays.

i would have put that stuff in my LiveJournal account,
but not all of my LJ friends are into cosplaying
so i guess they wont need to read about all that
(and my LJ is connected to my Multiply,
so whatever updates i put on the LJ
is almost automatically reflected on my Multiply -
and the people on my multiply are almost
a totally different bunch from my LJ friends altogether)

i would also put my techniques tutorials in the filcosplay forums,
but then, threads are constantly changing
and updating in a forum format - so any useful info i leave there
are sooner or later buried under other irrelevant threads
or comments - which, if you think about it,
is just a total waste of a good tutorial.

so it brings me back to my first paragraph:
i hatched the idea of putting what i know regarding
cosplay and costume building in my blogspot.

right now it only contains an introduction not too different from
what this journal entry is trying to explain
(but ive also thrown in some personal historical information
for that legitimate "academic" effect)

but i intend to fill it up in the next few months
with the tutorial i made for Psicom's Cosplay Magazine,

and some in-progress pix of my latest LATEST costume project
as well as revues and autopsies of my older costumes...

so sez Polidread !
