Description
It took years of neglect to create the browned, crumpled look on this brush work's paper.
I made this probably back in 1997 or 1998 and i never kept it in good condition.
the result: generally tattered and tarnished but the brushwork has been well preserved thanks to the good quality of ink.
a horrific sight for any art curator but given the subject and concept the aged look is probably thematically appropriate.
